NDSU aspires to be a premier metropolitan land-grant institution with exemplary programs related to its fundamental missions of education, research, and service. To support these ambitions, the University needs to deliberatetly direct and develop its Information Technology Services (ITS) assets. The Unversity Senate recommended creation of a committee system to oversee governance of ITS.
This IT committee system is comprised of IT Advisory Groups (ITAGs) in the areas of Teaching and Learning, Research, Information Systems, Standards and Infrastructure, Agriculture, and Student IT Issues. These groups are advisory to the Information Technology Council (IT Council).
The IT Council is a high-level committee that provides central focus for the overall system, coordinates campus IT planning and policy development activities, and facilitates.
