Your NDSU Electronic ID and E-mail Address

All NDSU faculty, staff, and enrolled students have an Electronic ID (e-ID) and an NDSU e-mail address.

Your Electronic ID must be activated in order to access your e-mail. Visit http:enroll.nodak.edu and follow the instructions to activate your e-ID and e-mail account. Your Electronic ID also grants you access to:

• Computers in the clusters
• Wireless Internet access on campus
• Access to Blackboard course management system (automatic for students, by request for faculty and staff)
• Internet access from Residence Halls

Your NDSU e-mail address is

• Your Electronic ID (Firstname.Lastname) @ndsu.edu.
• An official communication channel used by instructors, colleges, departments and administrative offices to send you messages.

You can access your ndsu.edu e-mail account from software on your computer or by using Webmail.

Note: You may choose to have e-mail addressed to your NDSU e-mail address delivered to an off-campus e-mail service (Hotmail, Yahoo!, AOL, etc.). If for any reason this delivery fails, you may miss important official communications. You are still responsible for those communications.
