This document tells you how to install and configure Oracle
Calendar to connect to NDSU's Oracle Calendar server. The Oracle
Calendar program was formerly called CorpTime.
To install Oracle Calendar, you will need to obtain the
installer program from ITS Software Licensing at the Help Desk (or
the install folder for LAN team members) before proceeding with
these steps.
Install Oracle Calendar
- Double-click the Oracle Calendar installer program.
- Click Next on the first screen.
- Next you will be prompted to select an installation folder.
The default, is preferred. Click Next.
- You will be given an opportunity to review your settings.
Click Next.
- After Corporate Time has finished installing, click
Finish.
Launching Oracle Calendar for the first
time:
- To open Corporate Time, double-click the
Oracle Calendar icon on your dekstop.

- At the sign-in screen, click the Other
button.

- In the Connection Manager window, click the
NEW button.

- In the Connection Editor window, type NDSU
in the "Connection Name" field.
- Type calendar.ndsu.nodak.edu in the "Server"
field.
- Click the Lookup button and Oracle Calendar
will automatically fill in the remaining fields.

- Click the OK button.
- In the Connection Manager window, select
(single-click) "NDSU."
- Click the Make Default button.
- Click OK.
- Log in to Oracle Calendar using your Electronic ID and
Password.
- You will be prompted to create an off-line agenda. Click
Yes.
- Use Oracle Calendar as normal.
Once a password has been reset on the Enroll page there are four
local files that need to be removed before your sign-in will work
if you have offline files. If these files are not removed, an error
message indicating that the offline password is incorrect will
appear.
Instructions for a Windows PC:
Open My computer, select Tools >
Folder Options > View
In the View tab, check the option Show Hidden
Files and Folders. Click OK to
accept this change. Complete the steps below.
- Close Oracle Calendar
- Open Local Disk (C:)
- Open Documents and Settings
- Open the folder with your Username
- Open the Application Data
folder
- Open the Oracle folder
- Open the Calendar folder
- Remove or rename the following files (if they are present):
- Do not remove the unison.ini
file
- Restart Oracle Calendar, login, and select Yes when prompted
to create an Offline Agenda
Instructions for a Mac PC:
- Close Oracle Calendar
- Go to your Hard Drive and click on
Home
- Go to the Documents folder
(not My Documents)
- Drag the following files (if present) to the Trash:
- Oracle Calendar TimeZones
- Close the Hard Drive window
- Empty the Trash
- Restart Oracle Calendar
