A Blackboard Organization enable users and groups on campus to collaborate and communicate more
effectively. Campus organizations (clubs or interest groups, student or faculty government associations,
fraternities/sororities, etc.) can distribute content, communicate, collaborate, and deliver surveys
to their members right within Blackboard.
1. What is a Blackboard Organization and how do I request one?
2. Review the Control Panel
3. Add Members or Participants
4. Change the layout and look of your Content area
5. Start communicating with other members in your Organization
Prior to each semester, students are automatically enrolled in their Blackboard courses. These
auto-enrolls are run until the last day to add classes. Students are not automatically deleted from
Blackboard courses when they drop courses in PeopleSoft. Instructors must remove drops manually. If there
are students that you need to add or remove manually from your class, use "Enroll Users" or "Remove Users
from Course" from the Control Panel.
