The Access Grid is research technology that allows groups to collaborate at a distance using rich audio, multiple video streams, and presentation resources (e.g., distributed Power Point, high-quality display sharing, etc.). The Access Grid Node at NDSU, in IACC 422, is corrently not operational. Due to limited use, the future of this service is being evaluated.
If you would like to discuss this, and how to setup your own personal Access Grid node, contact Sandy Sprafka (sandy.sprafka@ndsu.edu).
The main Access Grid project link is at ANL: http://www.accessgrid.org/. There is additional information at the Argonne National Lab (ANL) or the NCSA (National Center for Supercomputing Applications).

Pictures
Paul Juell took some pictures of our
Access Grid Node during the Kansas Chautauqua event on August 1-3, 2000. In the time since the pictures
were taken, we've mounted the projectors on the ceiling and reconfigured the room.
There is also a collection of
unedited digital picture files taken at the NCSA NAMD Workshop on Biomedical Applications of Molecular
Dynamics on the TeraGrid in April, 2002.
