SecureW2 Requirements

Windows XP requirements to use SecureW2:

• Windows XP with SP2
• Microsoft Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (KB893357) update
• Wireless card that supports WPA2 (likely manufactured after 2004)
• NDSU-provided SecureW2 client
• NDSU electronic ID and password
• Most individuals have wireless service automatically enabled on their NDSU account, but users may wish to verify that "WLAN" is listed on their account at http://enroll.nodak.edu
  If WLAN is not listed, it can be requested on the site.

Macintosh OS X requirements:

• Must have OS 10.4 or later to use WPA2 Authentication
• AirPort Wireless card
• NDSU electronic ID and password
• Most individuals have wireless service automatically enabled on their NDSU account, but users may wish to verify that "WLAN" is listed on their account at http://enroll.nodak.edu
  If WLAN is not listed, it can be requested on the site.

Macintosh OS 10.4 and 10.5
Go to the Software Download Page, choose Macintosh Software and download the Root Certificate file. That file includes the required security certificate and instructions on how to install it.
