Parallels Workstation

Please consult software licensing before ordering software for machines running Parallels. When running two operating systems simultaneously, Microsoft requires the purchase of software assurance in addition to our academic license.

Up Coming Software Renewals

ESRI

The ESRI software contract renews June 16, 2008. With this year's renewal prices are expected to increase. The current cost for NDSU deparments is $30 per license. Please be prepared for a jump in price ranging from $20 to $40. More Information will be coming soon...

SPSS

The SPSS software contract renews July 15, 2008. The current cost for NDSU departments is $50 per license, no increase

HECN Software Licensing Program

The HECN Software Licensing Program offers a limited selection of software titles at academic prices for all HECN campuses.

Important - Please Read:

  • Use of any software licensing title not in compliance with our agreements or contracts constitutes software piracy and is strictly prohibited.
  • The purchase of license gives you the right to install one copy of the software on an university owned computer.
  • Installation CDs are not included in the price of the license but can be borrowed from the Help Desk or purchased for an additional fee.
  • Server installations of a product have specific regulations. Please contact Software Licensing for more information on server installed applications.
