NDSU licenses a variety of programs for use at no charge by faculty staff and students. These include McAfee AntiVirus and AntiSpam software, networking and utility software.

NDSU provides software for university-owned computers through the Software Licensing program in Information Technology Services. See the list of Software Licensing Contacts to find out who is responsible for ordering software within your department or business unit. Please contact this person first regarding any software requests.

Student discounts on a variety of programs, including Microsoft Office and Adobe products, are available through the NDSU Bookstore.
NDSU's Microsoft Campus Agreement allows faculty and staff to purchase one copy of Microsoft Office (Windows or Macintosh) for home use. This software must be ordered through the NDSU Software Licensing Contact for your department or business unit.
Faculty and staff who wish to purchase non-Microsoft software for personal use should contact the NDSU Bookstore.
