Hours per Week: 20
Starting Wage: $10.50/hour
Reports to: Senior Systems Administrator
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, document, and maintain servers and the
applications that run on them.
- Develop and maintain complex computer
programs.
- Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications for Employment:
- Experience with UNIX / Linux based operating systems
like: Red Hat, Solaris, FreeBSD, etc.
- Knowledge of a scripting language such as PHP, Perl or
Python.
Preferred Qualifications for Employment:
- Experience installing and administering UNIX / Linux
based operating systems.
- Knowledge of Apache HTTPD.
- Familiarity with relational DBMS systems such as
Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Experience with Novell system.
- Knowledge of a
programming language like Java, C or C++.
