Blackboard's Adaptive Release feature allows you to create customized learning paths for your students. Students will see your content ONLY when you want them to!
Adaptive Release provides controls to make content available to users based on a set of rules (criteria) established by the instructor. These rules may be related to item availability, dates and times, or individual users and user groups. Content can also be released to individual users based on their scores or attempts on any Gradebook item, or their Review Status of other items in the course. Instructors are also able to view the details of an item for all users in a course at once, and check whether an item is visible to a particular user or group, and whether they have marked the item as Reviewed.
See how to create basic and advanced rules for releasing content in your course, and view details for all users. We'll also take a look at enabling the "Review Status" for items and using the Performance Dashboard to monitor content availability and individual student progress through the course.
