Most of the parts of Blackboard you know and love will look
familiar in Blackboard 8; HOWEVER, the Blackboard Gradebook has
been completely redesigned - in fact, the change is so significant
Blackboard decided to rename the Gradebook to the "Grade
Center"!
Blackboard's new Grade Center is a very useful tool for managing
student grades for all course activities and assignments. This
session illustrates the existing and new or changed features
available in the Grade Center. Learn how to use the Grade Center
effectively!

- Inline cell editing (spreadsheet functionality!)
- Send email directly from Grade Center
- Ability to exempt individual students from a graded item
- View gradebook by selected users
- Upload multiple items/grades from spreadsheet to Grade Center
at once
