The Microsoft Office suite of applications includes Access (a database application for tracking larger amounts of data), Excel (a spreadsheet application suitable for "number-crunching"), Word (a word processor), PowerPoint (for creating electronic presentations), Publisher (a desktop publishing application), OneNote (a digital organization and research tool), and Outlook (an email and personal organizer application).
ITS is now providing training using the new Office 2007 version of all of the Office applications; however, all of the available training is also appropriate for users of Office 2003, Office XP (2002), Office 2000, and Office X, 2001 or 98 for Macintosh users.
