Access 2007 for Windows - Part Two

Once you have the basic skills needed to work with Access 2007 databases, you'll want to focus on maintaining data consistency and integrity so that you'll produce data you can trust!

In this six hour (two-day) session you'll learn how to create more efficient and powerful Access databases; maintain data consistency; customize database components; improve queries, forms, and reports; and use Access 2007 data with other applications.

On completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Modify the design and field properties of a table to streamline data entry and maintain data integrity
  • Retrieve data from tables using joins
  • Create flexible queries to display specified records, allow for user-determined criteria, and modify data using powerful action queries
  • Enhance the capabilities of forms
  • Customize your reports to organize information and produce specific print layouts
  • Share data across different types of applications

Prerequisites: Completion of "Access 2007 Database Basics" and "Access 2007 for Windows - Part One", or a good, basic working knowledge of Access 2000, 2002, 2003, or 2007.
