Email Using Microsoft Outlook 2007

This class will provide you with the skills you need to use Outlook 2007 to send, respond to, and organize your email and work with folders, tasks, and notes. Learn how to use Outlook more effectively and less painfully!

On completion of this class, you will be able to:

  • Identify the components of the Outlook 2007 environment and compose, send, and respond to email messages
  • Attach files to outgoing messages, and open and save attachments you receive
  • Use folders to organize messages
  • Manage contacts and contact information
  • Create and edit Notes and Tasks in Outlook
  • Customize message settings, delivery options, and message formats
  • Create an Out of Office notification message
  • Create distribution lists
  • Sort and Find messages quickly
  • Filter messages by creating rules

Prerequisites: Basic familiary with email clients in general. Some previous use of Outlook would be helpful, but is not required. Good working knowledge of the Windows operating system.
