Faculty Resources
Through the TLMC, instructors who assign technology-intensive
projects to their students can receive support and learning
services for themselves and for their students.
Project types include, but are not limited to:
- Creating Web pages with Dreamweaver
- Creating newsletters with Publisher, Word, or
InDesign
- Creating slide shows with PowerPoint
- Creating electronic portfolios (in
Blackboard, PowerPoint, or Dreamweaver)
- Assignments that require the use of Access or
Excel
- Video capture, editing, and publishing
- Artwork using Photoshop or Painter
Available services include:
- Help with project planning
- Identifying and documenting best methods
- Training sessions for students (during class
time or outside class time)
- Online resources
- Individual or small group assistance with
projects for students on a walk-in or by-appointment basis
